What sets WP Rocket apart is its preemptive approach; instead of waiting for user interaction, it begins site crawling and cache preloading automatically. Check the status via the WP Rocket dashboard under the Settings » WP Rocket.

Navigate to Settings » WP Rocket and select the ‘Cache’ tab. By default, WP Rocket initiates page caching, but you can optimize this.

2- User Cache: Essential for sites with user logins, such as e-commerce or membership platforms, for a smoother user experience. 
3- Cache Lifespan: Determine the storage duration for cached files. The 10-hour default is suitable for many, but adjust according to your site's frequency of updates.

For a leaner site, WP Rocket offers file minification for JavaScript and CSS. On the 'File Optimization' tab, select desired files for minification. While effective, especially for high traffic sites, ensure files load correctly after enabling this feature.

WP Rocket's 'Preload' tab lets you review and configure preloading settings. It generally starts with the homepage, preloading links it finds. Alternatively, use your XML sitemap. While you can disable preloading, it's best to retain it for consistent performance.
